Goodbye For Now
By Stanislaus Jude • Mar 29th, 2008 • Category: Editor's Note, ThrottleZine
It has been 2 years since I first started with this ThrottleZine blog on a whim. And it is with mixed emotions that I bid farewell — for now, at least.
ThrottleZine has grown much, undergoing a number of face-lifts, re-thinks and extended periods of inactivity, before becoming the product you see before you now. It is my hope that it will continue to grow as a blog, a community platform where serious and not-so-serious bikers can come together to share our expertise and opinions, as well as rally to improve the riding experience for bikers in Singapore and Asia.
It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement: with potential conflict of interests with an upcoming employment stint, I have elected to step away as editor of ThrottleZine.
But perhaps it’s good news for readers! Gregory X, a professional freelance writer with some 6 years in the industry, has been appointed ThrottleZine’s new editor, and has the uneviable task of bringing this modest website to dizzying heights of success. Good luck with that, dude! ;p
It’s been a good 2 years here. And, hopefully, this will not be the last you hear from me!
Cheers,
Stanislaus Jude
