Get ready for fun on two wheels as BikeAsia, the world’s largest motorcycle and bicycle show, kicks off in Asia for the first time!
Scheduled for April 10 - 13 at the Singapore Expo, BikeAsia 2008 will showcase some 300 of the biggest names in the industry, from Shimano bicycles to Ducati motorcycles, as well as a number of leading distributors and manufacturers from South-East Asia, Japan, China, Europe and America.

Best of all, EICMA –of the Milan Show fame — has entered the fray as equal partners with BikeAsia Pte Ltd, in what promises to be an extraordinary display for all things 2-wheeled. If BikeAsia2008 in Singapore is anything like the Milan Show, we’re in for a mouth-watering extravanganza!
Costantino Ruggiero, EICMA’s Managing Director, believes the Asian motorcycle and bicycle market holds an increasingly important influence.
“We realize that today Asia plays a decisive role in the two-wheel vehicle sector – this is where nearly 90% of world production is concentrated! We believe we have the know-how it takes to create in Singapore, a location that is marvelous from every point of view, an event that can emulate the success achieved by the show that we have organized for years in
Milan!” he said.
Roberto Fabbri, Managing Director of BikeAsia Pte Ltd and the brain behind BikeAsia 2008, is upbeat about business opportunities at the event this year, and expects the show to generate in excess of US$150 million (S210 million) over the four days.
It’s about time the motorcycle fraternity has an exhibition we can truly be proud of. Looks like this is one event not to be missed!
